Richard "Ben" Hirst

Mr. Hirst has served in senior roles with some of the nation’s leading companies, across a variety of industries. With over 35 years of experience spread across the transportation, restaurant, legal and real estate industries, he will assist Trinity as it expands its growing efforts with leading middle market companies.

Most recently, Mr. Hirst served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for KB Home Corporation. Previously, he has served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Burger King Corporation, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Northwest Airlines, Vice President and General Counsel of Continental Airlines. Mr. Hirst began his career as a law clerk for the U.S. District Court and later worked as an attorney with Langrock & Sperry.

He is a cum laude graduate of Harvard College and earned a law degree from Harvard Law School.
